On February 13, 2019 LifePro presented their annual Summit event to a jam-packed house of nearly 200 attendees – consisting of financial advisors, insurance carrier representatives, and some of the top industry experts all under one roof. Hosted in San Diego, CA, Summit 2019 featured an incredible lineup of speakers specializing in life insurance and annuity selling, quality communication, sales strategies, seminar and direct mail marketing, success principles and much more.
The day kicked off at 9:00am with a salute to our nation’s flag during the National Anthem. Shortly after, LifePro President and Summit 2019 host, Ben Nevejans, took the stage to uncover the speaker lineup before transitioning into his own segment of the show.
Growth on Purpose… With a Purpose!
Ben’s presentation, “Growth on Purpose… With a Purpose!”, focused on the variety of tools and resources LifePro advisors can utilize to increase their success in 2019. Ben shared some of the marketing ideas, sales strategies, and success principles of LifePro’s top advisors in 2018.
In addition, Ben introduced LifePro’s newest report, known as the Retirement Income Shortfall Analysis. Advisors can use this report to understand and get to know their clients’ overall financial standing on a deeper level. Similar to a medical history form a patient would complete prior to receiving a doctor’s diagnosis, the Retirement Income Shortfall Analysis dives into the client’s financial portfolio and uncovers a new set of segments for opportunity. He then closed his presentation by emphasizing one of LifePro’s missions, to always “under promise, and over deliver” for each advisor, client and insurance provider that works alongside LifePro.
Communicate With Your Clients on a Much Higher Level Than Ever Before
Following Ben’s presentation, founder and president of Moneytrax, Don Blanton took the stage to present the “Communicate With Your Clients on a Much Higher Level Than Ever Before.” The industry legend uncovered a 7-step process to converse among present and prospecting clients’ in a professional, unique manner, while addressing some of the most common yet toughest financial questions. Don then emphasized the significance of having a philosophy and the cruciality of how it needs to be easily identified and understood amongst your clientele.
Furthermore, Don introduced and walked each advisor through his Circle of Wealth® system that has helped over thousands of producers not only establish more business, but also build stronger client relationships and receive way more referrals than those that are not using the tool. He displayed how the Circle of Wealth® tool has built-in scripts and calculators that any advisor can walk through with their clients face-to-face or over the phone to uncover needs and answer any financial question they have with ease.
Getting in Front of the Most Qualified Prospects (Over and Over Again!)
With over 20 years of experience in the direct marketing industry, Jorge Villar emphasized the importance and effectiveness of conducting seminars within this industry. He justifies his statement with statistics and declaration that “people feel more comfortable exchanging hands after a seminar.” Jorge then shared the most successful types of seminars, industry-specific concepts, and what it takes to conduct a great presentation.
Jorge then transitioned towards the notion of the digital era and how it affects our market. This included some common syndromes, statistical evidence over social media, and seminar show-up rates. He finished his presentation with an assertion for advisors, “let’s not abandon traditional methods that work on what 50-year-old’s and older respond to”.
A Winning Combination
LifePro’s CEO, Heather Ulz, showcased an empowering presentation, “A Winning Combination” following the day’s lunch break. She emphasized the importance of being a company that will always do things the right way, along with an overview of how LifePro can support and assist advisors in obtaining their goals.
On top of that, Heather discussed the different upcoming events LifePro is hosting and the different tools a successful advisor can take advantage of when working with LifePro. She then closed out her presentation with the statement that we “reward you for the business that you do and thank you for the trust you put into us” and that “your success equals our combined success.”
The Time Has Never Been More Right for Annuities

Vice President of Sales at Allianz Life, Dan Biagini took the stage with a set of golf clubs and a transparent crate of golf balls. What better way to present his message across the room than to tie it with the number one sport in our industry. Dan creatively compared the rules of golf with retirement strategies.
Moreover, Dan grabbed the audience’s attention by uncovering his analogies, while simultaneously juggling a golf ball with a golf wedge. He then went into thorough detail of the different annuity products Allianz has to offer while introducing a unique tool that Allianz created to compare hypothetical annuities and retirement portfolios that advisors can implement for their clients.

Chief Scientific and Operating Officer of Wamberg Genomic Advisors, Mark Winham, took the stage and highlighted how genomic sequencing can open new doors. He stressed the importance of being proactive and having an early and accurate diagnosis in receiving effective cancer treatment with the solution that the Cancer GuardianTM program can formulate for your clients.
Lynnette Bates, Senior Vice President was handed over the stage to present their mission values of awareness, accessibility and affordability. She discussed in detail the process a client will undergo when visiting a cancer support specialist, advanced DNA testing, medical records platform and much more about the Cancer GuardianTM program. She explained that this program was created with the sole purpose of addressing all the challenges a client diagnosed with cancer will face.
Mastering the Success Principles: How to Get From Where You Are to Where You Want to Be

LifePro Summit keynote speaker, Jack Canfield, then took the stage to wrap up the day! Known as America’s #1 Success Coach, Jack gave an exciting and interactive 90-minute presentation, based on his latest book, The Success Principles: How to Get From Where You Are to Where You Want to Be.
Jack claimed that his goal is to “help you get further and faster with less struggle” while going over a select number of principles that are relevant specifically for financial advisors. The select principles were taught with live interaction from the event attendees to bring awareness to the power you have over your mind. Jack transitioned to rational practices every advisor should implement, along with the confidence of establishing their breakthrough goals that will move them forward in their career and life.
The day concluded with a final send-off from Summit 2019 host, Ben Nevejans, thanking the attendees for coming and reviewing the list of other upcoming live events that they could attend in the future. Guests were then invited to a cocktail reception following the event.
